This showstopper kitchen by Mastercraft Kitchens Whitianga is a shining example of how contemporary architectural design can transform a space into a true work of art. It’s a space where aesthetics meet functionality and where every detail has been carefully considered to create a beautiful and highly liveable kitchen. It is a testament to the power of design to enhance our daily lives and elevate our experiences in the heart of the home.
Mastercraft Kitchens Whitianga has succeeded in creating a harmonious fusion of style and functionality in this contemporary architectural kitchen. The clean cabinetry and hardware balance the feature granite benchtop and splash backs. This kitchen reflects the homeowner’s taste and stands as a work of art that celebrates the joy of cooking and entertaining.
Not to be confused with your run-of-the-mill black, white, and accent wood kitchen, this project has homed in on the feel of a space. From the finger-sized vertical stacked backsplash to the variegated horizontal panels on the island, this kitchen and scullery use rhythm and repetition of textures to create interest and a livable environment. The roller doors in the scullery quickly conceal benchtop appliances when not in use, creating a clean backdrop for entertaining.
This kitchen is a fresh, approachable take on your classic white kitchen. Sleek profiles get a rural touch by softening the tones of white. Large pulls in black create a statement while tying into the materiality of the contemporary pendant lighting. The feature of upper cabinetry compliments the home’s washed dark wood flooring, creating a harmonious backdrop for the homeowner’s family furnishings.
This kitchen is an excellent example of how functionality does not have to outshine your own style. Our client loved the natural textures of their space. Modern materials, like the porcelain benchtops, are delivered in soft hues with subtle veining, creating a functional but organic palette. The kitchen is a great example of how the home balances nature & modernity.
Leaning into the home’s casual coastal location, Mastercraft Kitchens Whitianga has merged timeless colours with effortless textures. Bold rustic pulls complement the formed panel cabinet fronts. Zellige-style subway tiles and feature bead-board on the island create a softer, more textural approach to the classic subway tile and flat panel islands. While the main elements are neutral in colour, the accents pull from the gorgeous surroundings to create a kitchen harmonious with the view. Nothing could encapsulate the relaxed lifestyle of the Coromandel more suitably.
